Could a simple diet change before surgery improve recovery from colon cancer?

NCT ID NCT06212817

Summary

This study is testing whether it's practical for people with colon cancer to eat more fiber in the weeks before their surgery. Researchers want to see if two different methods—personalized digital diet advice or a special dried vegetable product—can successfully increase fiber intake compared to people eating their normal diet. The goal is to gather information to design a larger future study that could test if more fiber before surgery actually leads to fewer complications and a better recovery.
