New collagen shot may help young women beat uterine cancer without hysterectomy

Summary

This study tests whether injecting a lab-made collagen into the uterus, along with daily hormone pills, can help shrink early-stage endometrial cancer or precancerous growths. The goal is to preserve fertility in women aged 45 or younger. Thirty participants will either receive the collagen injections plus hormones or hormones alone, and their response will be checked every 3 months.
