Scientists freeze Boys' tissue in hope for future fatherhood
NCT ID NCT02972801
Summary
This study offers an experimental procedure to freeze testicular tissue from young boys who are about to undergo cancer treatments that will likely make them infertile. The goal is to preserve the tissue so that, if future scientific advances allow, it might one day be used to help them have biological children. The study is collecting tissue from up to 1,500 participants and will store it while also researching the cells it contains.
