First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding fexuprazan, a stomach acid reducer, can prevent upper gastrointestinal bleeding in 1000 people with atrial fibrillation who are taking blood thinners (NOACs). Participants are at high risk for bleeding due to age, kidney problems, or other medications. The goal is to see if fexuprazan reduces bleeding events over 12 months.
