Summary
This study tested the drug fenofibrate (Lofibra) to see if it could prevent a type of bile duct injury called ischemic cholangiopathy in people who received a liver from a donor after circulatory death. Only 6 participants were enrolled before the study was stopped early. The goal was to check if the drug was safe and well-tolerated.
