Summary
This study is testing whether adding the drug fenofibrate to standard treatment helps patients with a specific liver disease called Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC), especially those whose current medication isn't working well enough. It will involve about 104 adults with early-stage liver scarring who are already taking the standard drug. Researchers will check if the combination improves liver blood tests and reduces symptoms like itching and fatigue over one year.
