Fencing fights frailty: new study for blood cancer patients
NCT ID NCT06026046
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special fencing program can help adults with leukemia or lymphoma avoid getting weak while they receive strong treatments in the hospital. About 80 patients will be offered fencing lessons adapted to their condition, which can be done in bed, a chair, or standing. The goal is to see if patients can attend at least half of the planned sessions, and if it helps their physical and mental well-being.
