First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at a new metal rod (nail) used to fix broken thigh bones. About 66 adults who need surgery for a femur fracture will get this nail. Researchers will check how well their leg works one year later and compare it to older nails. The goal is to see if the new nail is as good or better at helping people recover.
