New thighbone nail shows promise in healing fractures

Summary

This study looks at a new metal nail used to fix broken thighbones (femur fractures). About 66 adults who need this surgery will be followed for 12 months to see how well their leg function returns and if any problems occur. The goal is to confirm the new nail works as well as or better than existing options.
