Thigh injection may stop blood pressure spike during surgery

Summary
This study tests if injecting numbing medicine near the femoral artery can reverse high blood pressure caused by a tourniquet during ankle surgery. About 40 adults having total ankle replacement will be randomly assigned to get the injection or a placebo. The goal is to see if this approach safely controls blood pressure during the procedure.
