Summary
This study looked at how donor human milk is given to very low birth weight infants in the NICU. The goal was to see if current feeding practices follow safety guidelines and properly monitor for electrolyte imbalances. 150 premature babies weighing 1250 grams or less were included. The findings help improve nutritional care for these vulnerable infants.
