NCT ID NCT07154784
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether transferring healthy donor stool into the gut (fecal microbiota transplantation) can safely improve symptoms and reduce steroid use in 30 people with mild-to-moderate ulcerative colitis. Participants aged 10–80 will be followed for 48 weeks to see if the treatment leads to long-term disease control. The goal is to understand if this approach can be a personalized, ongoing management option rather than a one-time cure.
