Summary
This study looked at whether transplanting healthy stool bacteria (fecal microbiota transplantation) could help people with liver cirrhosis. Nineteen adults with cirrhosis received the transplant, and researchers measured liver stiffness and brain function one month later. The goal was to see if this treatment could reduce liver damage and prevent confusion caused by liver disease.
