Poop transplants: one dose or many to fight superbug?
NCT ID NCT06071312
Summary
This study tests whether giving one fecal transplant or a series of transplants works better to clear up a tough, recurring gut infection (C. difficile) in people who also have ulcerative colitis. Researchers will enroll 64 adults to see which method is more effective at eliminating the infection and if it helps improve their colitis symptoms. They will also track safety and changes in gut bacteria.
