Can a simpler consent process help find the best chemo for TNBC?
NCT ID NCT02688803
First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a new, simpler consent process could help compare three standard chemotherapy plans for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). TNBC is an aggressive breast cancer that lacks certain hormone receptors, and doctors don't agree on the best chemotherapy. The study aimed to enroll patients who were already planning to receive chemotherapy and randomly assign them to one of three standard regimens. Only 2 participants were enrolled before the study was stopped, so it could not answer its main question.
