New therapy eases cancer Survivors' fear of relapse

Summary
This study tested a group therapy program to help breast and ovarian cancer survivors in Turkey cope with the fear that their cancer might return. About 100 participants completed questionnaires before and after therapy to measure changes in fear, anxiety, and quality of life. The therapy was culturally adapted from an existing program and compared with standard cognitive behavioral therapy.
