New therapy aims to ease parents' fear after child's cancer

Summary
This study adapts a proven therapy (FORT) for parents of childhood cancer survivors who struggle with intense fear that their child's cancer might return. About 36 parents across Canada will be randomly assigned to receive the therapy right away or after a 3-month wait. The goal is to see if the program is practical and helpful in reducing fear and improving quality of life.
