Brain cancer boost: new PET-Guided radiation aims to outsmart glioblastoma

Summary

This study tests a higher radiation dose for frail adults with glioblastoma who cannot have standard surgery. The extra dose is aimed at the most aggressive tumor areas, identified by a special FDOPA PET scan. The goal is to see if this approach can help people live longer. About 75 participants will receive this targeted radiation along with chemotherapy.
