First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study examined whether FDG-PET CT scans are more accurate than standard CT scans for staging muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Researchers reviewed records of 130 patients who had PET CT scans before surgery. They compared scan results with actual findings from surgery to see how well the scans detected cancer spread. The goal is to help doctors make better treatment decisions.
