First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study examined whether FDG-PET CT scans are more accurate than standard CT scans for detecting cancer spread in people with muscle invasive bladder cancer. Researchers reviewed records of 130 patients from two hospitals in France. The goal was to see if PET CT could help doctors make better treatment decisions by comparing scan results with actual tissue samples from surgery.
