First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at two ways to help patients breathe during lung surgery when only one lung is used. It compares a newer method called flow-controlled ventilation with a standard method. The goal is to see which one improves oxygen levels and lung function. About 60 adults having lung surgery will take part, and their breathing data will be collected during the operation.
