New breathing method tested in lung surgery: could it be better?
NCT ID NCT07392086
First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at two ways of helping patients breathe during lung surgery when only one lung is used. One method is newer and controls airflow more precisely, while the other is standard. Researchers will measure oxygen levels and lung function in 60 adults to see if the newer method offers any benefits. The goal is to gather real-world data, not to cure or treat a disease.
