First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looked at how tasting fatty acids changes levels of digestive hormones and other markers in the blood. Researchers compared healthy adults, people with type 2 diabetes, and obese individuals without diabetes. They also measured each person's ability to detect a specific fatty acid (linoleic acid) to see if sensitivity differs between groups.
