First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at how Semaglutide, a diabetes drug that helps with weight loss, affects fat stored in the heart and leg muscles of people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will use special scans to measure fat changes in 60 adults who are not very active. The goal is to understand if the drug improves fat balance in these organs beyond just lowering blood sugar.
