NCT ID NCT06857435

First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a patient's own fat to standard skin grafts can improve tight, contracted scars from burns or trauma. Forty adults needing scar release will be randomly assigned to receive fat grafting plus a skin graft or a skin graft alone. The main goal is to see if the fat helps reduce scar size and improve healing over 9 months.
