Fat layer tested to improve feel and function after penile reconstruction
NCT ID NCT07316491
Summary
This study aims to see if adding a thin layer of a patient's own fatty tissue underneath a standard skin graft improves results after penile reconstructive surgery. Researchers will compare outcomes in 24 men who receive the fat graft plus standard surgery to those who receive standard surgery alone. They will measure skin softness, length, sexual and urinary function, and self-image over 12 months to see if the added fat provides benefits.
