Scientists test shortcut for dental implants
NCT ID NCT07484685
Summary
This study is testing if dental implants can be placed sooner after a tooth is pulled, without harming the results. Adults needing a single-tooth implant will be randomly assigned to get their implant placed after 4 months or after the standard 6-month wait. Researchers will use 3D scans and other tests to see if the bone heals just as well with the shorter timeline.
