Cutting the wait for a new tooth: study tests faster implant timeline
NCT ID NCT07484685
Summary
This study is testing if dental implants can be placed sooner after a tooth is pulled, without harming the results. Adults needing a single tooth replaced will be randomly assigned to get their implant either 4 months or 6 months after the old tooth is removed. Researchers will use 3D scans and other tests to see if the shorter wait time works as well as the standard, longer wait.
