Rapid test could get patients out of isolation sooner
NCT ID NCT07397416
Summary
This study aims to see if using a faster PCR test, instead of the standard slower culture method, can help hospital staff make quicker decisions about isolating patients. It will look back at the records of 800 adult patients to compare how long it took to start or stop isolation before and after the new test was introduced. The goal is to reduce unnecessary isolation time and use hospital resources more efficiently.
