Summary
This small, completed study from Stanford University tested a faster schedule of a non-invasive brain stimulation treatment called theta-burst stimulation. It involved 7 adults with bipolar depression that hadn't responded well to other treatments. The goal was to see if shortening the treatment time could still help reduce depressive symptoms and was safe for people with bipolar disorder.
