Summary
This study tests a 'fast-track' recovery plan for children aged 2 to 17 who have surgery for a complicated appendix. The goal is to see if this plan can safely shorten hospital stays compared to standard care. About 772 children will take part, and researchers will track any complications within 30 days after surgery.
