Summary
This study tested whether getting hip fracture surgery within 48 hours of injury is better than the usual, slower process. It involved 150 older adults, comparing death rates, complications, and recovery speed between the fast-track and standard groups. The goal was to see if speeding up surgery improves patient outcomes.
