One pill to rule them all? new study tackles stubborn high blood pressure
NCT ID NCT07259733
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether a single pill containing three blood pressure medications can quickly control resistant hypertension better than taking several separate pills. About 142 adults with hard-to-treat high blood pressure will be randomly assigned to either the triple-combination pill or their usual multiple medications. The goal is to see if the simpler approach leads to better 24-hour blood pressure control after 12 weeks.
