Heart patients may not need to skip breakfast before procedure, study says

Summary
This study looks at whether it is safe and better for patients to eat and drink as usual before an elective heart catheterization. About 2000 adults will be randomly assigned to either fast or not fast before their procedure. Researchers will compare how satisfied patients are and whether there are any breathing complications.
