New scan could sharpen breast cancer staging

Summary
This study tests a new type of PET/CT scan that targets a protein found in many breast cancers. The goal is to see if it can find cancer spread more accurately than current scans. About 65 adults with newly diagnosed, high-risk breast cancer will get this scan before and after treatment. If successful, it could help doctors plan more personalized treatment.
