First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a new type of PET/CT scan that targets a protein called FAP, which is found on many breast cancer cells. The goal is to see if this scan can find cancer spread to lymph nodes or other parts of the body more accurately than current scans. About 65 adults with newly diagnosed, high-risk breast cancer will get this scan before and after treatment to help doctors plan the best care.
