First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a new type of PET scan called FAPI can find and stage gallbladder and bile duct cancers better than the standard scan. About 60 adults with suspected or confirmed cancer will get both scans so doctors can compare accuracy. The goal is to improve detection of cancer spread and possibly reduce the need for invasive biopsies.
