NCT ID NCT06719323
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a 12-week family walking program called Family WISH can improve frailty, quality of life, and family functioning in teens aged 12-18 with congenital heart disease. Participants walk with family members for 20-30 minutes daily, at least 5 times a week, and track their progress. The goal is to see if this simple, supportive exercise plan leads to lasting benefits compared to just receiving a health education sheet.
