Summary
This study tests whether a family-focused education program helps African American adults with type 2 diabetes better manage their condition. Participants and a family member attend virtual group sessions over 12 weeks to learn about diabetes self-care and family support. Researchers measure changes in blood sugar control and quality of life to see if the program works.
