Summary
This study aims to prevent chronic health conditions like Type 2 Diabetes in teens living in rural Colorado by offering a family-based lifestyle and stress management program. About 175 families with a teen aged 11-19 will take part in activities focused on healthy eating, physical activity, mindfulness, and parent education. The program is designed to be accessible to communities that often lack such resources.
