Summary
This study offers a family-based program called Health Without Barriers to teens and their families in rural southwest Colorado. The program includes mindfulness training, nutrition and physical activity sessions, and parent education to help prevent chronic health problems like Type 2 Diabetes. Researchers want to see if families find the program acceptable and helpful. About 175 teens aged 11-19 and their families will take part.
