Summary
This study looks at a new way to help family members of people with inherited cancer get tested for the same gene changes. About 15% of cancers are inherited, but many people don't know they carry a risky gene. The study will test if having a doctor reach out to at-risk relatives directly can increase the number of people who get genetic counseling and testing, compared to the usual method where the patient tells their family themselves.
