Summary

This study tests a family-oriented version of the Diabetes Prevention Program for Black families in Southwest Georgia. Parents with prediabetes and their children aged 8-15 will learn healthy eating and exercise habits together. The goal is to help parents lose weight and lower their risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
