Summary
This study tested whether group diabetes education for patients and their family members, delivered in churches, helps improve long-term blood sugar control. It involved 321 Marshallese adults with Type 2 diabetes and a participating family member. Researchers measured blood sugar levels for two years to see if this community-based approach was effective.
