Church-Based program aims to help families fight diabetes together
NCT ID NCT04256486
Summary
This study tested whether a diabetes education program, originally designed for homes, would work well when offered in group sessions at churches. It involved 321 adult Marshallese people with type 2 diabetes, who each brought a family member to learn together. The main goal was to see if this church-based approach could help participants better manage their blood sugar levels over two years.
