Summary
This study tests whether a family-centered approach can help teens (ages 10-19) and their families adopt healthier lifestyles to prevent heart disease. Researchers will work with 1,280 participants across 32 villages in Uganda, providing guidance on diet, exercise, and other heart-healthy behaviors. The goal is to see if this approach improves overall cardiovascular health and can be widely adopted.
