First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study checks if a quick bedside checklist can help emergency doctors decide which older adults (65+) need a brain scan after a fall. The goal is to avoid unnecessary scans while still catching dangerous brain bleeds. Researchers will follow 4,000 participants for 30 days to see how well the tool works.
