Church-based depression program aims to lift spirits in african american communities

Summary
This study tests whether a faith-based program can reduce depression symptoms in African American adults. About 50 people from Wisconsin church groups will participate. The program combines cognitive behavioral therapy with religious fellowship. Researchers will measure depression severity before and after the program.
