Researchers seek to unlock mystery of persistent pain after spine operations

Summary
This study aims to better identify and understand patients who develop chronic pain after back surgery, a condition called Failed Back Surgery Syndrome (FBSS). Researchers will follow 200 adults with persistent pain for over 6 months after their surgery to collect detailed information about their symptoms and care journey. The goal is to create better tools to diagnose these patients faster and guide them toward appropriate treatments sooner.
