First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study watches 50 people aged 65-90 with geographic atrophy (a form of dry age-related macular degeneration) who are already taking pegcetacoplan. Over 24 months, researchers will use a special vision test to see if it can reliably measure changes in retinal sensitivity near areas of damage. The goal is to see if this test can be used in regular clinic visits to better track the disease.
